Must Liingo's Carry Handle be in a specific position?

When installing Liingo in a vehicle the Carry Handle MUST adjusted to and locked in the upright position.

NOTE: When Liingo is used outside a vehicle, be sure the Carry Handle is locked in the upright position before lifting the carrier.
