What are the Foonf's UAS (LATCH) and seat belt limits? – Clek Support

Rear-Facing
• UAS (LATCH) installation for children weighing 14 – 40 lb
• Vehicle belt installation for children weighing 14 – 40 lb

Forward-Facing
• UAS (LATCH) and vehicle belt installation (used in combination*) for children weighing 22 – 65 lb
• UAS (LATCH) installation for children weighing 22 – 48 lb
• Vehicle belt installation including Top Tether for children weighing
22 – 65 lb

NOTE: If the UAS (LATCH) limit listed in your vehicle manual is lower than Clek's stated limit, then it is recommended to follow the limit specified in your vehicle manual. If your vehicle manual does not provide a limit, then assume a 40 lb child weight limit.

*NOTE: Clek Foonf has a Rigid UAS (LATCH) design with a separate belt path for forward-facing seatbelt installation. This design means that one method of installation does not interfere with the other. As a result, Clek allows the use of both Rigid UAS and the vehicle seat belt with forward-facing installations ONLY with the Foonf.

Using both Rigid UAS and the vehicle seat belt will allow continued benefit from the enhanced side-impact performance of the Rigid UAS system, as well as the increased forward-facing safety performance of our REACT crumple technology, until the child weighs 65 lb, or outgrows the seat in height.
