Can I safely install my Ozzi booster seat without UAS (LATCH)?

Clek booster seats have been designed to fit all designated UAS (LATCH) seating locations.

However, due to the position of UAS (LATCH) anchors and vehicle seat belts varying from vehicle to vehicle, there can unfortunately be some in which a booster seat is more difficult to use - or cannot be used - with UAS (LATCH).

The good news is that our booster seats are still perfectly safe to be installed without UAS (LATCH) in the event that the connectors are unable to be used.

To install a Clek Ozzi without the use of UAS (LATCH):

Step 1
Place the booster centered on the desired vehicle seat position.

Step 2
Push the booster as far back as possible. Tuck the UAS (LATCH) connectors into the crease of your vehicle seat, if possible*.

Step 3
ALWAYS ensure that the booster is buckled in place with the vehicle seat belt when unoccupied to prevent it from becoming a projectile in your vehicle.

*NOTE: A small gap between the booster seat base and the vehicle seat back is permissible provided the child does not slouch, can sit properly, and the vehicle belt can be correctly positioned on the child.
