Can I safely install my Olli booster seat without LATCH (UAS)?

Clek booster seats have been designed to fit all designated LATCH (UAS) seating locations.

However, due to the position of LATCH (UAS) anchors and vehicle seat belts varying from vehicle to vehicle, there can unfortunately be some in which a booster seat is more difficult to use - or cannot be used - with LATCH (UAS).

The good news is that our booster seats are still perfectly safe to be installed without LATCH (UAS) in the event that the connectors are unable to be used.

To install a Clek Olli without the use of LATCH (UAS):

Step 1
Place the booster centered on the desired vehicle seat position.

Step 2
Push the booster as far back as possible. Tuck the LATCH (UAS) connectors into the crease of your vehicle seat, if possible*.

Step 3
ALWAYS ensure that the booster is buckled in place with the vehicle seat belt when unoccupied to prevent it from becoming a projectile in your vehicle.

*NOTE: A small gap between the booster seat base and the vehicle seat back is permissible provided the child does not slouch, can sit properly, and the vehicle belt can be correctly positioned on the child.
