How do I know when the vehicle belt fits my child properly with Oobr?

  • Vehicle seat belts MUST fit snugly and lay flat against the child and MUST not be loose or twisted. A snug seat belt does not allow any slack. It lies in a relatively straight line without sagging.
  • The lap belt MUST sit low and snugly on the child’s hips. Pull the shoulder belt to tighten.
  • The shoulder belt MUST be at or above the child’s shoulder, lie snugly across the midpoint of the child’s chest and across the centre of the shoulder.
