Can I safely install my Oobr booster seat without LATCH (UAS)?

Clek booster seats have been designed to fit all designated LATCH (UAS) seating locations.

However, due to the position of LATCH (UAS) anchors and vehicle seat belts varying from vehicle to vehicle, there can unfortunately be some in which a booster seat is more difficult to use - or cannot be used - with LATCH (UAS).

The good news is that our booster seats are still perfectly safe to be installed without LATCH (UAS) in the event that the connectors are unable to be used.

To install a Clek Oobr without the use of LATCH (UAS) in fullback mode:

Step 1
Place the booster centered on the desired vehicle seat position.

Step 2
Push the booster as far back as possible. ALWAYS ensure that the Oobr's backrest is in contact with the vehicle seat back. 

Step 3
ALWAYS ensure that the booster is buckled in place with the vehicle seat belt when unoccupied to prevent it from becoming a projectile in your vehicle.

NOTE: Oobr's recline function must NEVER be used when the seat is installed without LATCH (UAS).

To install a Clek Oobr without the use of LATCH (UAS) in backless mode:

Step 1
Place the booster centered on the desired vehicle seat position.

Step 2
Push the booster as far back as possible*. Do NOT allow a gap between the boosters seat and the vehicle seat back.

Step 3
ALWAYS ensure that the booster is buckled in place with the vehicle seat belt when unoccupied to prevent it from becoming a projectile in your vehicle.
