Harness straps routed through harness slots at or below the child’s shoulders. Remove visible slack from the hips. Unable to pinch a horizontal fold in the harness straps at the collarbone. Chest clip positioned at armpit level. Remove Harness Covers for small babies if they prevent proper positioning of chest clip. Buckle tongues locked into buckle. Top of infant’s head at least 1” below top of carrier seat back. Newborn Support System in use if infant is 11 lb or less and if top of shoulders are below lowest harness slots
