Can I use LATCH (UAS) anchors that are not designated for the vehicle seating position I've selected for Liing?

The Liing base is designed with a rigid LATCH system that has the same width between each rigid connector as the width between the lower anchors in your vehicle's designated LATCH seating positions (11 inches or 280 mm). 

Only install the base using LATCH in those seating positions which the vehicle manual designates as being an acceptable seating position for a LATCH installation.

Your vehicle manual may use the term isofix, UAS, LUAS, or LATCH to refer to the lower anchors - the width of lower anchors is standard across all models of vehicles regardless of the descriptor used unless your vehicle manual tells you otherwise.

To install the Liing base in a seating position without LATCH, follow the instructions for installing the base using the vehicle belt.
