How much of the Liing base needs to be supported by the vehicle seat?

If the Load Leg is used and/or base is installed with rigid LATCH (UAS):

Overhang is permitted provided rigid LATCH (UAS) and/or the Load Leg is in use.  There is, however, not any set limit on the amount of overhang that is allowed.

Please contact customerservice@clekinc.com to provide pictures of the base, along with the make/model/year of your vehicle, if you are concerned with the amount of overhang.

If the Load Leg is NOT used and base is installed with a vehicle seat belt:

AT LEAST 80% of the Liing base must be supported by the vehicle seat.  If it is not possible to achieve at least 80% support, then we recommend using the Load Leg, switching to a seating position with more depth, or changing to a rigid LATCH (UAS) installation, if possible.
